The idea for Garden Library Space was conceived in April 2020 during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing the need for enhanced learning resources, especially for students preparing for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams, the founders created Garden Library Space as a solution to support and guide students in their academic endeavors. Over time, the platform expanded its services to include a broader range of educational and creative activities.
In June 2024, Garden Library Space made a significant leap in its offerings by acquiring ESM Industries, which enabled the platform to develop sponsorships for authors. This new initiative involved promoting and supporting authors by creating trailers for their books, providing a wider audience and greater reach for their work.
